Final Fluid Simulation


Below is a time-lapse detailing the creation process of my final ocean simulation. In the end the simulation phase took approximately a week then the render took two due to a series of issues as I will discuss in the video.

The Final Output

Here is my 10 second ocean simulation shot composited in Adobe After Effects, in hindsight I should have exported each render pass as .exr files instead of .jpg as JPEGs don’t have an alpha channel meaning layering the passes was very difficult.
